October ***Adoption Special Throughout October*** In recognition of Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month, all dog and puppy adoptions come with a free Home Again microchip!
Saturday, Oct 4 - Pool Party for Pooches, Spindletop Hall, 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. $15 per dog admission fee includes lunch for one person (drink, sandwich and chips). Must show proof of current rabies vaccination in order to be admitted. No humans permitted in the pools with the dogs.
Saturday, Oct 11 - portable adoption day at PetSmart, Hamburg Pavilion, 10-4
Sunday, Oct 12 - Caddyshack's Fundraiser to benefit the animals. All you can eat brunch buffet from 10 am - 2 pm. $5 pitchers all day. Gordon Crowe on acoustic guitar 8-11 pm. 10% of your purchases on this day is donated to the animals. Millpond Shopping Center at the corner of Boston Road and Man O War Boulevard.
Sunday, Oct 12 - Canine Olympics at the Woodford County Park. Bring your dogs to compete for the Gold in a variety of Olympic events. Visit shops and vendors in our Olympic Village, with pet friendly products and services. Silent auction of pet-related items.
