We work hard to find that perfect forever home for every one of our residents, but sometimes it can take a while to make the match. Meanwhile, we do everything in our power to make their stay with us as pleasant and enriching as we can. Dogs get plenty of play time and walks, and cats laze in hammocks or sunny windowsill in our cat colonies. The average cost of a pet stay at our facility is more than $500. If one of our pets steals your heart but you can't adopt, you can still help by sponsoring a pet. Your gift of $25 or more will go toward that pet's care and your gift will be listed in the next issue of our Paw Prints newsletter.

Now you can have complete peace of mind! Receive 30 days coverage from PetFirst Healthcare for just $5 with your adoption. Coverage for accidents and illness begins at midnight on the day you enroll your new pet. How does it work? If your pet should develop an unexpected health condition or get in an accident, PetFirst reimburses you 90% of your vet bill, after a $50 deductible. After the first 30 days expires, you have the option to enroll for a full year, or cancel with no obligation.

Derby’s Pet Fence Rescue Dog Program is a Win-Win!! Adopt a dog from the Woodford Humane Society and receive a $50 discount toward a Derby’s Fence Pet installation.
