Freedom Fest 2008 presented by

July 18-19, 2008 at Darley's Gainsborough Farm

Freedom Fest is our largest annual fundraiser. It offers a weekend of festivities to help raise money for the animals in our care. The venue is always one of Kentucky's picturesque horse farms, featuring the talents of artists, culinary experts, and interior and garden designers. It has become one of the most breathtaking events in Central Kentucky. 90% of the funds raised go directly to the animals.

Friday's Bone Appetit Day, July 18, begins with a catered breakfast and lecture featuring celebrity speaker Vern Yip. Lunch follows with sample signature dishes from area restaurants and caterers including Spindletop Hall, Selma's Catering, Wallace Station, Holly Hill Inn, Whole Foods, Annette's Catering, Equus Run Vineyards and Moe's Southwest Grill. Preview the elegant designer dining stalls and decorated tables, take a guided tour of the breathtaking farm and bid on unique auction items, including Scenes of Gainsborough Act II, original artwork from some of our region's finest artists.

On Saturday, the stallion barns are transformed into elegant designer dining rooms for our sponsors and guests. General seating and reserved tables are available under the tent where the Live Auction and dancing will be held. We have live and silent auctions, guided farm tours, as well as dinner provided by Annette's Catering, music and dancing.

Special Thanks to our Event Sponsors:
